Below
are several (but not all-inclusive) ingredients we think you might want
to understand better. They are often key ingredients that help our
products perform and get results equal to or better than distributed,
popular brands.
Trichogen
VEG LS 9733 is an advanced scalp and hair treatment to fight against
hair loss and restore hair vitality. This is the active ingredient we
use in our hair growth products such as the Awaken & Replenish
Shampoo and Conditioner, Follicle Stimulator, Enzy Block, Dermal AN,
Anastim and the Prominox line. Trichogen is a combination of about 12
herbal extracts that have been tested and proven to put hair back in to
the anagen phase, new growth phase.
Here
are the extracts that make up the Trichogen, panax ginseng root
extract, arginine, acetyl tyrosine, arctium majus root extract,
hydrolyzed soy protein, calcium pantothenate, zinc gluconate,
niacinamide, ornithine HC1 ,citrulline, glucosamine HCl, and biotin.
Trichogen is a topical treatment as alternative to hair restoration
procedures that is able to improve hair strength, decrease hair loss,
stimulate growth, improve scalp conditions, and to counteract hair-loss
disorders.
Zinc PCA
is a trace mineral that your body needs to stay healthy. It is found in
fatty acids, seafood and is popularly used in creams and powders. The
main problem is that most people often confuse zinc PCA with zinc, but
there is a big difference since Zinc PCA helps to combat
dihydrotestosterone which cause hair loss. It helps improve health of
the hair by naturally controlling production of sebum. This has proven
beneficial in preventing hair loss as well as dandruff. In addition to
that, it can help reduce scalp odor by killing bacteria that grows on
the scalp.
Zinc
PCA is also used to help eliminate dandruff and dry hair as it contains
elements that control and prevent its spread. When dandruff is left
untreated, it can become a serious infection especially when exposed to
elements like dirt. For this reason, it is advisable that you take the
necessary steps to treat the dreaded condition before it worsens.
Studies have shown that zinc PCA may have anti-aging effects on the
scalp and skin. Regular use of Zinc PCA can improve your skin tone as
well as eliminating undesirable facial features that make you appear
tired and worn out, leaving your skin smooth and glowing.
Emu Oil is
almost 100% triglyceride in nature which makes it an almost completely
neutral lipid. Researchers feel that the reason that it penetrates human
skin so readily is that it has a total lack of phospholipids. Human
skin is phospholipid de cient which means that there is no phosphorus in
human skin. Anything put on human skin and scalp that has phosphorus in
it will not penetrate because skin is programmed to keep such
penetration from happening. Conversely, anything such as emu oil that is
phospholipid de cient, i.e. has no phosphorus, will penetrate right in
and take with it any medicinal materials added to it. Even on its own
without added materials emu oil has amazing hair growth properties.
The
most important property of emu oil has already been mentioned. It is
highly penetrating. This ability to penetrate the stratum corneum
barrier of the skin, brought about by the high levels of oleic acid
mentioned earlier, has in it the basis for many new uses in the future.
Emu oil could be combined with various medicinals or cosmetic materials
to take them beneath this barrier and could do it relatively more
cheaply and as e ffectively as the costly liposomes and iontophorisis
now available. At the present time, physicians in Australia specializing
in hair growth are using emu oil for this penetrating ability because
it gets into the scalp and enhances the potency of topical medications,
in addition to making them last lasts longer.
Matrixyl 3000
is an anti-aging product from Sederma. "Matrikine" is the term proposed
for fragmented matrix peptides able to regulate cell activity.
Matrixyl™ 3000 contains two matrikines, Pal-GHK and Pal-GQPR. Matrixyl
3000 has been tested and proven to tighten the elasticity of the skin.
It aids in reducing the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging
loose skin. Matrixyl 3000 combines two peptides, palmitoyl
tetrapeptide-7 and palmitoyl oligopeptide, resulting in an entirely new
super peptides.
Hyaluronic Acid
isn't harsh or skin-stripping at all. In fact, it's the exact opposite –
a powerful humectant (aka moisture-binding ingredient) that keeps skin
plump and hydrated and, yes, young-looking. Hyaluronic acid is a
naturally occurring polysaccharide (carbohydrate) in the human body. As
we age our bodies do not produce as much as they should to keep us
looking and feeling young!
Pepha-Tight
is a highly purified biotechnologically produced extract from the
microalgae Nannochloropsis oculata combined with a well balanced
fraction of polysaccharides. It functions as a skin tightener which
provides immediate tightening to the skin. It has been shown to protect
human fibroblasts from oxidative stress, simultaneously increasing the
formation of collagen-l thereby promoting a long term tightening effect
through the strengthening of the skin's connective tissue.
Lipocare
is a hydroglycolic solution combining caffeine, Coenzyme A and a
Bupleurum chinensis extract that fights cellulite by stimulating the
catabolism of lipids, a process that empties excess fat stored in the
adipocytes. This product is formulated specifically for cellulite. It
targets the fat tissue and helps reduce the appearance of any dimpled
skin which we refer to as cellulite.
Vitamin K
is a group of structurally similar, fat-soluble vitamins the human body
requires for complete synthesis of certain proteins that are
prerequisites for blood coagulation that the body needs for controlling
binding of calcium in bones and other tissues. The vitamin K-related
modification of the proteins allows them to bind calcium ions, which
they cannot do otherwise. Without vitamin K, blood coagulation is
seriously impaired, and uncontrolled bleeding occurs. Low levels of
vitamin K also weaken bones and promote calcification of arteries and
other soft tissues.
Jojoba Oil
is the only oil that closely resembles human sebum – an oily substance
naturally produced by the oil glands below the skin surface, so its uses
and benefits to the skin and hair are high. Jojoba Oil is also
beneficial for it's moisturizing and emollient properties. Jojoba oil on
scalp works to clean the residues of blocked and encrusted sebum
leading to reduced hair loss and diminished hair damage.
Sunflower Oil is rich in vitamin E, which acts as an antioxidant in the body.
Vitamin E come
from its antioxidant properties. Antioxidants remove free radicals —
the unstable compounds that damage the cell structure. Immunity levels
improve when vitamin E is consumed. Another important benefit of vitamin
E is that it reduces cholesterol and the risk of developing cancer.
Argireline
is a hexapeptide mimics the N-terminal end of SNAP-25 and competes with
this natural protein for a position in the SNARE complex. As a result,
neurotransmitters are note released efficiently and facial contractions
are weakened and muscles relaxed, thus inhibiting the formation of
wrinkles.Same as botulinum toxin but safer and smoother, this
anti-wrinkle peptide, the first of its generation, attenuates wrinkles
and expression lines, reducing the depth by 17% in 15 days and the face
becomes smoother.
